Passports with Purpose – Tickets now on sale

Win great prizes and raise money for a good cause with the Passports with Purpose raffle.

As I mentioned last week I’m participating in the Passports with Purpose Fundraising Raffle. Our beneficiary is Heifer International.

Today’s the day you can finally buy raffle tickets. There are some fantastic prizes, including a holiday in Hawaii! Here’s how to take part:

1. Check out the prizes and find the one you want. The list is here. Take note – there’s a code for each prize – scribble down the code for the prize you want to win. Some prizes may have geographic restrictions so please check.
2. Go to the Passports with Purpose First Giving page. For each $US10 donation you make, you’ll be entered into the raffle for the prize of your choice. Be sure to enter the prize code in the comments field on the form. And please, don’t hide your email. We won’t share it, but we do need to see it to tell you if you’ve won.
3. If you buy as a result of my post, please leave me a comment below so I can keep track and thank you personally. I’m aiming to sell at least 20 raffle tickets and raise $US200.
4. Tell all your friends.
5. Cross your fingers and wait. We’ll pull winners on December 30.

You’ll get a receipt for your donation from First Giving.

My donation to the raffle was a Lonely Planet guide book of your choice plus two copies of The Travel Book (hey, you can give one away as a gift), including free shipping anywhere in the world.

There are loads more great prizes, including merino underwear, great kids’ stuff, and accommodation in Hawaii (airfare not included). Take your pick.
