Singing for Passports with Purpose

Have you bought your Passports with Purpose raffle tickets yet?

I know, I know. It’s one week to the day before Christmas, you’re busy with last-minute gift shopping and festive cooking. Not to mention that your credit is well and truly crunched.

But ’tis the season of goodwill … so please do take the time to support Heifer International through our Passports with Purpose fundraiser. For only $US10 you can do a lot of good for someone who really needs it and buy yourself a chance to win some great prizes.

You can refresh yourself by reading my earlier post or you can head directly to check out the prize list and buy your raffle tickets.

The fabulous Pam from Nerd’s Eye View has recorded a ukelele version of disco classic I Will Survive and posted it on YouTube in honour of reaching $US4,000 in the fundraising stakes. But we’re not at goal yet and ticket sales close on December 29.

Really, you should be glad it’s not me singing. Those of you who know me will also know that I’m not exaggerating. I’m going to resort to blackmail rather than bribery. If we don’t reach our fundraising goal then I will record my own rendition of Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend and post it on YouTube. I don’t play the ukelele so it will be a capella.

Believe me, you do NOT want this to happen. If you are tempted to withhold your money in order to enjoy the humiliation, you will be very sorry when you actually watch the video. So buy early, buy often.
