My sister Emma at age five by the Peter Pan statue in Kensington Gardens, London.
Emma playing on the pirate ship in the Peter Pan Playground in Kensington Gardens.
One of the best things about London are its wonderful parks. They are fantastic for adults and children alike, and beautiful in all seasons.
Kensington Gardens, on the western bank of the Serpentine River opposite Hyde Park, is a favourite. This is home to Kensington Palace, where Princess Diana lived before she died, the beautiful Albert Memorial built by a grieving Queen Victoria for her dead husband, the swan-filled Round Pond, and the Orangery, perfect for fabulous afternoon teas. Fictionally, it’s also where Peter Pan lived, in the lesser known first book Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens, before he went to Neverland and met up with Wendy, Captain Hook and the Lost Boys.

Emma is so cute! What a sweetheart, this looks like a great place to take kids to.
Peace
I love Peter Pan. I think I would like this as much as the kids. And your sis is adorable.
Thanks, Peace and Carolina. I think she is pretty special too! She’s nearly seven and will be my flower girl in April. – Caitlin.
