It’s well past time for another round-up of great travel blog content. I’m thinking about making this a regular feature – I’d love to know whether my readers find it useful.
Europe
Jeanne at Soultravelers3 shares her top 10 tips for an untouristy experience on the Costa Brava, north of Barcelona.
Lara at Cool Travel Guide has a post about enchanting gardens in Mallorca.
Beautiful photo essay on European waterfalls from Andy at Europe a la Carte.
Darren at Travel Rants highlights the sexist policies of British campsites and how he can’t take his nephew camping for the weekend.
Nomadic Matt pays a visit to the Rosslyn Chapel near Edinburgh in Scotland – no doubt familiar to Dan Brown fans.
Andrew, an Aussie guy living in Krakow, Poland, has a new website on his adopted city, with a great round-up of Krakow restaurants.
Africa & Middle East
Steve at Our Man in Cameroon shares a picture of a quirky homemade African toy – pretty cool!
Donna at My Itchy Feet checks out the Jackass penguins at Betty’s Bay in South Africa.
Jess at FushMush writes about swimming, or rather floating, in the Dead Sea in Jordan.
The Americas
Intelligent Travel takes you crab fishing in Alaska.
Pam from Nerd’s Eye View and Kelly from Travellious are on a road trip to the TBEX conference in Chicago and they are blogging about the trip, which will take them through Yellowstone and past Mount Rushmore.
Did you read the ‘Little House’ books when you were a child? A travel article in the Miami Herald takes you on the Laura Ingalls Wilder trail. (Link via Sheila at Family Travel Guide).
Steve at Mexico travel blog Travelojos explains why Guadalajara, Mexico’s second city, is such a bargain.
Miscellaneous
A lot is written about how to travel with children. But what about how to travel with your parents? Kim at Wild About Writing + Travel shares her thoughts.
Antonia at Perceptive Travel asks the big questions – is there anything worth giving up travel for?
Steve from Travelojos writes a guest post for Matador on how your travel experiences as a child shape your travel philosophy as an adult. I particularly like the reference to Jonathan Franzen’s The Corrections.
Smart Women Travelers has a post about a family project to create a memory a year.
It would be better if you grouped it by content type or demographic or theme rather than by continent. (Well I’d prefer it anyway).

I’ll think about that. Different links lend themselves to different categories, so I won’t always use the same system. – Caitlin
