Photo Friday: Cable car in Barcelona

Barcelona, Spain; September 2007

Cable car across the harbour from the Barceloneta beach area to Montjuic Park. It was a lovely sunny afternoon and we had clear views out to the ocean in one direction and back towards La Sagrada Familia cathedral in the other.

We had to queue for a while but the views of Barcelona were worth it. I remember one tourist tried to push her in but the other tourists soon put her back in line, literally as well as figuratively.

This post is part of Photo Friday, a weekly blogging event hosted by Debbie of Delicious Baby. Every week travel bloggers share travel photos and tell stories about the images. Please visit her blog to see the other posts for this week.
