Other Achievements: We sold the car! It was in the shop for detailing work and we got it back Friday afternoon. Within an hour two buyers had come to see it and both were interested and prepared to pay asking price. We went with the one that was able to get a cashier’s cheque straight away and the transaction was completed Saturday morning. Yay! What a relief!
We sold our bike and a tall bookshelf and our kitchen table and chairs. We had a garage sale today and sold lots more stuff, especially little things but also some bigger items such as a heated mattress pad that was less than a year old. We made a few hundred dollars and we’ve listed the remaining items on Craigslist.
Last night we went out for dinner with a former work colleague of Jacks and his family.
All that has occupied just about every waking hour this weekend.
